The aim of the Broadwindsor Group Parish CLT to date has been the provision of a small development of affordable housing for rent to people with a direct connection to the villages within this Parish:

-Broadwindsor
-Burstock
-Drimpton
-Hursey
-Kittwhistle
-Seaborough

A copy of the BCLT's Allocations Plan for applicants can be obtained here. This document, which is part of the Section 106 Agreement, was signed by Abri and the BGP CLT on 5th July 2023.
Advice & guidance has been provided by the Wessex CLT Project (now hosted by Wessex Community Assets) and Middlemarch (support for community-led housing).
Our site was handed over to Abri during the last week in August 2023 and the first tenants moved in on 1st September 2023. The CLT Board wishes them well in their new homes.
On 27 November 2023, the BCLT received an award from the National Community Land Trust Network, in the category of "Beautiful Community-led Homes". A short write-up can be read here.
Now that this project has been successfully completed, the BCLT Board will consider "what next?" Some ideas were presented to its membership at the AGM in April 2024.
